Faculty Members Training Course in College of Education in Zulfi on Academic Counseling and Student Rights
Within the activities of the fifth day of the Academic Counseling Week, the college of Education in Zulfi held a training course for the faculty members on the academic counseling and student rights in the Quality Hall. The activities of the training course started with a speech delivered by His Excellency the Unit Coordinator, Dr. Fahd Al-Manii, in which he stressed the importance of the academic advising for students as well as the necessity of its activation; he also highlighted the academic advising problems. Then His Excellency Dr. Hamza Al-Ayasra talked about the role of the Student File and the items it contains. He also presented the importance of a teaching staff member in the academic advising and its mechanisms and the means of communication with the students. The course ended with a speech made by His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Ahmad Fikri, in which he talked about the skills and tasks of academic advisors.
