Gulf Traffic Week (29) under the banner of “our goal your safety”
The Zulfi Governor Prof. Faihan bin Abdulaziz bin Libdeh opened the Gulf Traffic Week (29) which was organized by the Zulfi Traffic Directorate in collaboration with the Industrial Institute under the slogan “our goal your safety” and in the presence of the Director of Traffic Department Colonel Zaid bin Mohammed Sudairy and His Excellency the Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs Professor Nasser Ben Othman Othman and a number of directors of government departments
After the event’s opening, participants toured the special exhibition which contained many pictures and presentations aiming to achieve this week’s objectives in order to raise awareness about traffic safety
The College participated in the Traffic Week in the province by organizing a corner to raise awareness and which included many of the releases in a move that seeks to explain the causes of horrific traffic accidents and how to reduce them. These causes are mainly excessive speed and running traffic lights which result in lots of deaths and serious injuries, in addition to distributing many gifts among the attendants
The Gulf Traffic Week is the result of a collaboration between the traffic departments in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as it is very important in all societies because traffic safety is an essential requirement that needs the interaction of all segments of society
