The Training Unit at the College organized a course titled "Professional Competences in Arabic" in collaboration with the Graduate Unit in the Arabic Language Department.
Course Objectives
The student should recognize:
• Professional competences of planning
• Professional competences of implementation
• Professional competences of assessment
• Professional competences of using technology
• TPACK competences (knowledge of content, technology and teaching methods)
Course Content
The course started with a talk about professional qualifications in light of curriculum requirements in terms of (educational goal requirements, content, educational activities, teaching methods and strategies, sources of knowledge and education technology, and assessment methods. This was followed by an explanation of the professional competencies of planning, implementation; assessment and use of technology in addition to the TPACK competencies.
