Training Faculty Members
The Dean of the College of Education in Zulfi met on Sunday 26/01/1437 with the units of quality in both the men and women campuses in the presence of Dr. Saad Al-Mahmoud, the vice-dean for Graduate Studies & Research and Supervisor of Quality Units in the college. Meeting Objectives: 1- launching the training plan proposed by the Quality Center to develop the skills of the faculty members in the college; 2- reviewing the achievements of the units during the first semester; 3- discussing the obstacles and difficulties facing the units and proposing some solutions; and 4- supporting the supervisors on the units financially and psychologically. During the meeting, the Dean reviewed the most significant achievements of the Training Unit including the comprehensive training plan for the faculty members, students, and staff members. The plan was uploaded on the college’s Website to be accessible to all staff members who will select their appropriate courses and workshops. The Unit of Quality Assurance then presented its most outstanding accomplishments during the first semester, which included the following: 1- making an operational plan for the improvement of Quality Plan in the college; and 2- preparing a brief report for reviewing the Quality Deanship of the college’s programs ready for accreditation. Then the Unit of Planning and Development presented a working plan of the college’s strategic plan from 1436 to 1440 Ah. Afterward, the Unit of Academic Accreditation presented a review report about the college’s programs submitted for academic accreditation in addition to a proposal for the accreditation of Arabic language and Islamic Studies programs. The unit also submitted a proposal for accrediting the English language program by the American Association. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed his appreciation to the members of the Quality units for their efforts in the development of the college, illustrating that his office is open to all, particularly the members of the Quality team who are working side by side with the staff members for the development of the college. Furthermore, the Dean thanked Dr. Saad Al-Mahmoud for the extra efforts made to the college’s Quality Center, wishing success for all.
