The Zulfi College of Education has Followed a New Approach for the Voluntary Work
The Zulfi College of Education has followed a new approach for the voluntary work that consists in cleaning mosques and distributing water on the workers in the streets, for the purpose of reinforcing the sense of social responsibility among students and encouraging volunteerism. The Zulfi College of Education represented by the Student Activities has adopted a new educational approach in teaching voluntary work course which is based on voluntary initiatives to do charitable work that would contribute to enhancing the sense of social responsibility towards the nation. Thus, Dr. Abdul Hakeem Ridhwan Saeed, the teacher of the voluntary work course, had suggested setting off the course strategy through voluntary projects carried out by the students and which include participating in cleaning mosques, and distributing water on the workers in the streets. the Student Activities Unit approved the project, adopted and sponsored it since it meets the terms of the Koran and Sunnah, that encourages self responsibility, and the sense of responsibly towards our family which represents the nucleus of the society, referring to our prophet’s (peace be upon him) Hadith, "you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock". Accordingly, Dr. Hakim met with the students on Sunday 25/12/1435 AH to do this noble work that would bring prosperity and profit to the students and the community. The students expressed their delight with this project that helps them do their duty towards their community and their dear Nation.
