A delegation of the Saudi Council of Engineers, represented by Eng. Saleh Al-Omar and Eng. Abdul Mohsen Al-Buraidi, visited the College of Engineering, on Wednesday, 15 / 2/1440 AH. The visit - approved by the Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqren as part of the collaboration policy between the College of Engineering and the local community- aims to introduce the range of courses offered by the Council. The delegation was received at the College by the Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Karim, and the vice-Deans. The Dean briefed them about the college academic departments and fields. Various topics related to potential collaboration between the College of Engineering and the Saudi Council for Engineers were also discussed. The delegation of the Saudi Council for Engineers had a meeting with the students at the Engineering Clubs’ Hall at the College of Engineering. Eng. Saleh Al-Omar discussed with the students about a wide-range of topics such as professional engineering practices, how to be a member at the Saudi Council of Engineers and Professional Accreditation. An overview was given about the training courses offered by the Council for students and engineers (freshmen and consultants) as well as the professional tests held or supervised by the Council.
