The Engineering College participated in the Volunteer Work Annual Exhibition for Community Service, hosted by Deanship of Student Affairs at Majmaah Mall. The 2-day exhibition was launched by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan and the Dean of Engineering College, Dr. Saleh Al-Dahsh. Organized by both units: the student activity and community services, the participation of engineering college included faculty members and students under the supervision of Dr. Tariq Nabil, supervisor of student activities and the head of PR, Mr. Abdelrahman Al-Jaber. Simplified yet attractive brochures were distributed by faculty members to visits in the exhibition focusing several topics such as the future of electric cars and their economic and environmental advantages and the best ways to rationalize the use of electricity in homes and in all types of engineering facilities such as lighting, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and electric heaters. The brochures also covered Standard and typical dimensions of modern kitchens. Visitors, who exceed 200, commended the exhibition for it increased the awareness of community members about energy rationalization.
