The Intellectual Awareness Unit at the College of Engineering organized an awareness-raising lecture for students entitled "Preserving the Prophet's Sunnah from the doubts of deviants”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Sultan Al-Othman, Professor of Hadith and Islamic Studies in the Department of Islamic Studies in Houtat Sudir on Wednesday at the Seminar Hall of the College. Head of the Civil Engineering Department and Head of the Intellectual Awareness Unit Dr. Abdul Majid Al-Menie, Faculty staff and students attended the presentation. Dr. Sultan Al-Othman spoke about the Sunnah and its role in our everyday life. “Prophet Muhammad’s approach can solve our daily problems, lead to the satisfaction of the Almighty and achieve divine justice on earth”, Dr. Sultan said. Dr. Sultan also talked about the good impact of Muslims’ commitment to applying the prophet's approach to their lives, ensuring a blessed and satisfied environment for believers in addition to security of the individual and community. Moreover, Dr. Sultan pointed out the positive effects of Muslims walking in the footsteps of the Prophet i.e. peace, solidarity and stability. At the end of the lecture, queries from the audience were answered.
