As part of the activities held to celebrate the world entrepreneur’s day and in cooperation with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at MU, the Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Saleh Al-Dahsh patronized a workshop entitled “Essentials of Entrepreneurship” on Wednesday. Launched by the vice-dean for development and quality, Dr. Abdullah Al-Muheisen, the workshop addressed the importance for students and faculty members to learn about the skills of entrepreneurship. Dr. Osama Abdelal, coordinator of the college, talked about the first topic of the workshop which focused on the distinction between an employee and entrepreneur, highlighting several examples of successful entrepreneurs both locally and globally. Dr. Abdelal then talked about the importance of entrepreneurship for the sustainable development and achieving the kingdom’s vision 2030. In the third topic of the workshop, an overview was provided about the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the wide-range of services it provides to faculty members and students, encouraging everyone to contact the center and avail themselves of its services.
