As part of the Urban Studio Initiative for Humanising Arterial Streets, under the Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Award for Humanising Cities (Third Edition), the College of Engineering's students won Best University-Representing Project.

The students presented a development project to humanize King Fahd Street in Majmaah Governorate. The presentation took place in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Dr Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf and the Acting Rector of King Saud University, Prof. Ali Mohammed Masmali, during the closing ceremony held on Sunday, 7 December, at Hamad Al-Jasser Hall, King Saud University.

Nine universities from across the Kingdom participated in the initiative, each showcasing innovative projects that reflect the strong commitment of academic institutions to advancing human-centred urban design and applying its planning standards.

Dr Dalal Khalid Al-Mutairi, Vice Dean of the College of Engineering, participated as a member of the judging panel, which included 27 faculty members from Saudi universities.
