In the light of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education concern to support talented students, the Vice Dean Office of the female campus, in cooperation with the Talents Department of Board of Education in Majmaah, held an educational documentary event on Thursday, 2/6/1440 H. The documentary was attended by 27 students from the talented classes in Al Ola Secondary School, accompanied by Ms. Asayel Al-Hari and Maha Al-Hamli from the Talents Center, their teachers Ms. Sara Al-Otaibi and Ms. Mai Al-Zu'aybi, and a group of Refed volunteers from the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education.
The documentary addressed Food Industry in the Kingdom, the factories’ work mechanism, meeting daily challenges, and ways to solve problems.
During the visit, the supervisor Ms. Asayel Al-Harri talked about the importance of scientific research describing documentaries as one of the ways to get to research. She also discussed the standards of successful scientific research and the difference between research and innovation in achieving the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
She thanked the University and the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, hoping that this event will be periodic in order to benefit a larger number of students.
At the end of the event, certificates of thanks and appreciation were given to the audience.
