Under the patronage of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education, a children’s library exhibition honoring the world children’s day was held by the Deanship of Library Affairs at Majmaah Mall. The two-day exhibition was launched by the Dean of the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi in the presence of the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer. Children from Insan Association and the University Pioneer Schools were invited to the exhibition which aims to promote the culture of knowledge among the different segments of the society as well as the importance of books and reading among children in particular. The exhibition had several educational sections for children such as story reading, coloring, intellectual skills, stage, Kinetic games and space. The exhibition received a large number of children accompanied by their parents.
The Dean of the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education, Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi said that his sponsorship is held at the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari to fulfill the university’s third role, namely community service.
