Within the framework of the collaboration established between Majmaah University and Gulf Colleges to follow-up the progress of educational programs for the academic year 1439-1440 AH, MU delegation, represented by Vice-Dean’s Office of Community Service, visited the Gulf Colleges to examine the quality of programs offered by the Colleges.
The visiting delegation consists of Dr. Abdulkareem Al-Harbi, vice- dean of Community Service for Educational Affairs, Dr. Sultan Al-Muteiri, Dean of Community College, and Dr. Ramzi Al-Zaid, Head of Accounting Department in Business Administration College.
The delegation was received by Dr. Sultan Al-Harbi, Vice- Rector of Gulf Colleges and a number of teaching staff.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to the programs were discussed. An overview was provided highlighting the colleges’ departments, programs and students’ number. The importance of academic guidance was emphasized along with the important role of scientific committees to examine the quality of running programs. An inspection visit was paid by the delegation to classrooms who also listened to the feedback of students.
Dr. Al-Harbi pointed out that a number of recommendations were made and a sense of optimism were felt with strong determination to improve the level of work’s quality in order to achieve the objectives pursued by the University. The visit had taken place under the directives of Dr. Omar bin Musaed Al-Sharyofi , Dean of Community Service and Continuous Education and follow-up of MU Rector, Dr. Khaled bin Sa’ad Al-Mugren.
