A delegation of Shaqra’a University including Dr. Abdelrahman A. Al-Ghamdi, Dean of Computer Science, Dr. Saleh M. Al-Kudairi, Dean of Preparatory Year and Deputy-Dean of Arts paid a visit to the IT Deanship. The delegation was received by the Dean of IT, Dr. Omar Al-Mutaihi, Deputy-Dean for Technical Affairs, Mr. Abdullah H. Al-Anazi and Deputy-Dean for Systems & E-Services, Mr. Talal Al-Harbi.
A discussion session was conducted followed by some inquires about the e-services provided to faculty members, staff and students via the software unit and the e-portal unit. The University e-portal components were explained and how it achieved the 12th position out of 60 Saudi universities and 75th position out of 725 Arab universities. An explanation was also presented about the Data Center and its highly advanced technologies.
At the end, the delegation of Shaqra’a University extended its thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of IT staff for the invaluable information provided to staff.
