The Operating System Department (OSD) is associated with the Vice-Dean’s Office for Technical Affairs at the Deanship of IT and is responsible of all issues pertinent to operating systems 9Linux,8,10 window,WindowsServer 2016,2012r2), servers, central storage units and backups. Goals: - Create an ideal work environment for the university staff in cooperating with other departments such as networking and information security. - Supervise and follow-up the university servers and central storage units - Manage backup systems of software - Manage Domain Controller and all related matters - Manager Group Policy Object - Manager cluster system of servers - Manager and monitor central storage systems - Add internal domains to DNS - Follow-up DHCP system - Execute email requests on Office 365 - Message Center - Apply international standards - Work on improving the infrastructure of the university systems - Monitor the demilitarized zone (DMZ) - Manage Virtual Machine R2 2016 System Center Manager
