Under sponsorship of His Excellency Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al Muqrin, the deanery of information technology, represented in managing the electronic gate, concluded its first meeting with the university supervisors of electronic gate. The meeting was started with an introduction delivered by His Excellency Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Mtehi, the counselor in the deanery of information technology. He demonstrated that the second stage of developing the electronic gate of university. He stated that the second stage will be constructed according to the international standards for evaluation of the electronic sites. Consequently, this requires the supervisors participation of the electronic gate to be committed to these standards together with paying much attention to the speed and accuracy in achieving their works.
Then, Mr. Youssef bin Hamad Al-Rukban, the rector of electronic gate and E-mail administration, offered subjects of the meeting schedule. These subjects focused on tasks and duties of the sub-sites supervisors of electronic gate, the recent content of gate and the way of activating, updating and discussing the articles of privacy policy of the electronic gate. Also, a projection of electronic forum for the university was introduced and the mechanism of motivating the sub-sites supervisors of the gate and supervisors of university forum. During the meeting, CDs were distributed to the supervisors of the electronic gate containing papers and samples of meeting and some programs of electronic gate.
His Excellency the university director, Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al-Muqrin, attended the meeting and thanked all people for their presentation and interest. He also motivated the supervisors of the electronic gate towards the practical interaction and transforming the events and activities of university to the gate and updating them first and foremost. He demonstrated that all their needs will be fulfilled. Also His Excellency announced tangible incentives for the excellent sub-sites of the gate and their supervisors and an award made for the first three orders of sub-sites affiliated to the electronic gate
