Almajma'ah University has participated in the second international competition for university debates in Arabic language. It was held in Qatar 21-24/4/2013. The university was represented by Dr. Fahad Saleh Almulhim, the head of Department of Arabic Language in Faculty of Education in Alzulfi as a trainer, Mr. Suleiman Abdullah Alqashami, the lecturer in Department of Islamic Studies in Alzulfi as a supervisor, Mr. Ibrahim Ahmad Alyousef from Deanship of Student Affairs as a coordinator as well as the team of photographing and documenting!
The students are:
1. Ibrahim Mohammad Aliedan (Faculty of Medicine in Almajma'ah)
2. Khaled Mohammad Alhusseini (Faculty of Medicine on Almajma'ah)
3. Abdulkareem Abdulaziz Alnasser (Faculty of Medicine in Almajma'ah)
4. Mohammad Sa'ad Almuneifi (Faculty of Sciences in ALzulfi)
It was a very interesting participation and a successful experience in the art of debates with forty four universities from twenty two countries. The debate was in Arabic language, and the students thoroughly comprehended the art of debates, their styles and systems, logical thinking, justification, providing strong evidence, the art of dialogue, listening and respecting the interlocutor as the students were required to do a lot of research and reading on a number of arts and sciences. The delegation had its great presence. The great support from the university as well as the Saudi Attaché in Qatar contributed to the success of the participation.
