The Deanship of Student Affairs at the University finalized the procedures of the arbitration committee of the Rector’s Award for Quran Memorization at Majmaah University. More than 300 students have participated in the contest, which received full support from the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan expressed his pleasure with the support of the Rector; the continuous follow-up of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih in addition to the resulting interaction of University students from all colleges of the university to compete in the contest.
He also thanked the Holy Quran Memorization Society for supervising competition and the Islamic Studies Department at the College of Education in Zulfi, represented by Dr. Saleh Al-Bahlal for supervising the Sunnah Contest.
Dr. Al-Ofaisan also explained that the competition aims to encourage students to memorize the Holy Quran and the Sunna and to show that the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz- may God protect him- and His Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman- may God protect him- are the guardians of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him.
