Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by cultural and social activities, has ended the Procedures of Alqura'an Memorization Competition Arbitration for His Highness University Rector's Prize for female and male students. The competition took place with participation of the Noble Qura'an Memorization Society in Almajmaah, the Noble Qura'an Memorization Society in Alzulfi, the Noble Qura'an Memorization Society in Alghat, the Noble Qura'an Memorization Society in Houtat Sadeer and the Noble Qura'an Memorization Society in Remah. 150 female and male students participated in the competition. The followings are the faculties that have participated in the competition:

2. Faculty of Medicine (male)
3. Faculty of Engineering (male)
4. Faculty of Education in Almajma'ah (male and female)
5. Deanship of Preparatory Year (female and male)
6. Faculty of Education in Alzulfi (female and male)
7. Faculty of Sciences in Alzulfi (female)
8. Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Alghat (female and male)
9. Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Alghat (female and male)
10. Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Remah (female and male)
11. Faculty of Business Administration (amale)
The competition aims to highlight the role the university plays in paying much attention and concerns to the Noble Qura'an via teaching it to female and male students and deepening the connection between the university and society institutions. In addition, such a competition strongly connects the students with the Noble Qura'an, by memorizing it, applying it in their life, encouraging their talents and creativity and. Also, this will help the university discover the nice voices in order to improve them; and it will also give the chance to students to benefit from each other's experiences.
Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi indicated that the University Rector's Prize of the Noble Qura'an Memorization Competition is a motive for more hard-work and determination in memorizing and interpreting the Noble Qura'an. By doing so, they will be prepared for working by its rules and directions. Also, such a competition encourages female and male students to memorize the Noble Qura'an, enhance their morals and ethics and spread virtues and high morals. Dr. Alghemeizi highlights that the Noble Qura'an is the constitution of Islam and contains all the principles of Sharaia'ah. So we should celebrate it in terms of memorization, interpretation, knowing and applying its rules and directions. His Excellency added that this comprehensive concept of working by the rules and directions of the Noble Qura'an has made our country exert so many efforts to inculcate and instill the love of Qura'an in youths. His Excellency mentioned that there will be a particular celebration for this competition under the patronage of his Highness the University Rector to honor female and male winners. In the end, Dr. Alghemeizi offered his thanks and appreciation to his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa'ad Almuqrin for his concerns and great support for this competition.
