Founding Workshop of Reading Clubs conducted at MU

Under the patronage of Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih and in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, the Academic Supervisor of Reading Clubs, Dr. Aqil Al-Aqil, will present the goals of these clubs and main themes of the workshop. One faculty member and one student is selected from each college to participate in the workshop.
The main themes of the workshop are :
- Introducing the goals of reading clubs and their role in achieving the educational objectives in line with the vision 2030
- Identifying the needs of colleges
- Sharing students’ experience (i.e. the student Abdelrahman Al-Falih)
- Setting new goals and plans and finding out common grounds between the colleges
- Holding competitions to encourage readers
- Suggesting reading lists of books for 1439/1440 which include more than 40 books
- Announcing the reading competition supervised by the Library Affairs
- Outlining the final recommendations of the workshop.
