In a Meeting Targets twenty two thousand Female and Male Students
His Highness the University Rector Meets with the New Students for the Academic Year 1434 A.H
With the honoring of his highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa'ad almuqrin, the Deanship of Student Affairs held a meeting for him to meet with the new students in the university theater. The meeting started with a welcome opening in which the speaker gave a hearty welcome to the Rector, the University vice President for Educational Affairs, the Deans of Deanships and Faculties, the presidents of administrations and the new students. Then, some Qura'anic verses were recited. Afterwards, his Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi delivered a speech in which he welcomed the University Rector, the University vice President for Educational Affairs and the new students. His Excellency clarified that the Deanship of Student Affairs is very keen to achieve the designed objectives through the activities to be performed inside and outside the university and the services the Deanship is offering to all the students. Then, his Excellency MR. Saud Abdulmohsen Almuqhim, the vice Dean of Deanship of Admission and Registration, made the Deanship speech in which he explained to the students what matters to them in terms of their academic classes in the faculties. Then, his Excellency the University Rector delivered a speech in which he first praised Allah for everything, then he extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince his Highness Prince Salman Abdulaziz for providing enormous potentials in different fields, particularly higher education which the University is witnessing its fruit. His Excellency mentioned that a student has rights and duties he should be fully aware of. He advised the female and male students to be obedient to their parents and seek knowledge. He added that a student should be selective when it comes to friends and he considers that all the students are the university ambassadors. At the end of his speech, his Excellency emphasized on the importance of this meeting and it does not end with the last part, but communication between him and the students continues as his doors are open to all the university staff and the students in particular at any time. He also mentioned that all the people in charge receive any complaints at any time no matter what their position is. He stressed on the point that no one is allowed to close the door in the way of students, and by doing so the staff will achieve partnership with the female and male students by listening for their problems and getting involved in finding solutions. In fact, all remarks and complaints are received and taken into account in order to find a treatment. Afterwards, his Excellency answered clearly all the queries that came through social networks and what's app and also the direct questions. At the end of the meeting, the students expressed their happiness and satisfaction with a very enthusiastic applause to the President for being transparent and for his wise recommendations. His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi expressed his thanks and appreciation to his highness the University Rector for this meeting that the new students are accustomed to it at the beginning of every academic year. Dr. Alghemeizi added that he follows every detail with regards to students matters closely and on a daily basis. He always gives directions in their favor that will contribute to their success and academic excellence.
