MU PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC TRIP IN SINGAPORE

As part of the Dean of Student Affairs’ Trips Program and among 12 Saudi universities, MU has participated in the International Scientific Trip Program, held in Singapore. MU’s participation in this trip was based on the Rector’s directives to take part in such international events, an act that will pay dividends both scientifically and culturally. The delegation o MU included the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ofaisan and the students: Faisal Al-Zaban, Ahmed Al-Saleh and Sultan Al-Humaidani. The 10-day program of the trip included the following: a meeting with the Saudi Ambassador and Cultural Attaché in Singapore, a visit to both universities NUS and NTU, the Technology and Research Center and the National Museum. A training program in leadership and team building was also held. Dr. Al-Ofaisan extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, for supporting the university students to take part in this type of scientific trips.
