The university tournament football matches began on Sunday with six matches on Prince Salman Sporting City playgrounds, Alzulfi and Sadeer clubs. The first match was between the Faculty of Education team and the Faculty of Community team, and it ended in favor of the Faculty of Education team 4-2. The Faculty of Business Administration team played against the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences team in the second game, and it ended in the favor of Faculty of Business Administration team 5-2. The third match was between the Faculty of Sciences team and the Faculty of Sciences team, and the game ended in favor of the Faculty of Sciences team 4-0. The preparatory year team played against the team of Faculty of Dentistry in the fourth match, and it ended in favor of the latter team 4-0. All these matches were held on the playground of Prince Salman Abdulaziz Sporting City in Almajma'ah. In the fifth match that was held on the playground of SAdeer Club in Jalajel, the team of Faculty of Engineering played against the team of Faculty of Sciences Islamic Studies, and the game ended in a tie 2-2. In the sixth match that was held on the playground of Alzulfi Club in Alzulfi, the team of Faculty of Education played against the team of Faculty of Sciences Humanities in Alghat, and it ended in favor of the team of Faculty of Education 2-1. With these games, the first round of the university tournament of football finished. In fact, this tournament is organized and supervised by the Deanship of Student Affairs. Two rounds of the tournament remains that are the semi-final and last is the final. It is known that all the football matches of the tournament are supervised by a set of excellent referees certified by the Saudi Federation of Football, and also a medical team is available in order to offer any medical service needed at the time of the match. There is a security team from University Safety Administration in the University that also supervises the place. This was mentioned by the supervisor of scouting and sporting activities Mr. Naser ALhanou who extended thanks and appreciation to his Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi who is one of the secrets behind the success of all the Deanship programs and activities in general and the sporting ones in particular for his unlimited support and constant follow-up. Mr. Alhanou also extended thanks to all the people in charge from all faculties for their co-operation. He also offered thanks to those who are hosting the tournament matches and all his colleagues in the administration of sporting and scouting activities.
