Upon the approval of Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, and under the guidance of the Vice Rector, Dr. Ahmed Al Rumaih; the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Ofaisan, and the Vice Dean for Student Activities, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwaider, held a workshop about strategies of student affairs deanships in Saudi universities with reference to the Kingdom vision 2030.
The event was attended by the deans of students' affairs deanships and their vice deans.
Addressing the audience, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Nami gave a speech in which he stressed the importance of this event. He explained that the basis for the success and excellence of institutions is to set strategic plans and programs.
Another speech was given by Dr. Abdullah Al-Haidari, the vice dean of Development and Quality Deanship, who explained the university's vision in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Bakr, Vice Dean of Student Affairs deanship for Development and Quality, delivered a speech in which he presented the vision of the Deanship emanating from the University's vision 2030.
After a short break, the workshops were conducted which focused on three topics: First, the structure of deanships. Second, the harmonization of student programs and activities. Third, how to boost self-resources of deanships.
At the end of the workshop, the participants discussed various topics and practical recommendations that will enhance the efficiency of the Deanships of Student Affairs in Saudi Arabia in the light of vision 2030, in order to achieve growth and keep pace with developments in various fields.
