MU FIRST COUNCIL MEETING FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 1443 AH CHAIRED BY RECTOR

On behalf of the minister of education, Prof. Hamad Al-Shaikh, and in the presence of vice-rectors, deans and the general secretary of universities affairs council, Dr. Mohammed al-Saleh, MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil chaired the first meeting of the university council for the academic year 1443 AH.

The meeting was launched by a welcoming speech for the rector who extended his thanks to the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince for the trust placed in him.

Dr. Al-Mizil commended precautionary measures implemented by the government for the safe return to face-face classes and to fight Covid-19.

The General Secretary of the Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, pointed out that several topics in the agenda of the meeting were addressed, most importantly are forming permanent committees for teaching-assistants, lecturers, language teachers and research assistants, scholarship and training and university investment.

At the end of the meeting, the rector extended his thanks to the council members for their active role in improving the quality of the university outcomes.
