Vision:
To be a leading department locally, regionally, and internationally in education and scientific research by offering exceptional programs and innovative contributions that serve and advance society

Mission:
"Qualifying graduates in mathematics, statistics, and data sciences and developing their skills to excel in the job market, contribute to community service, support sustainable development, and apply scientific research and technology."

Goals:

1. Develop students' skills in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis to be good teachers and compete in the job market.

2. Equip graduates with the skills needed to work in research centers in both public and private sectors and to pursue postgraduate studies.

3. Teach mathematics, statistics, and their applications in a way that meets the needs of the College of Science and other departments.

4. Support the professional development of faculty members and recruit outstanding teaching assistants and researchers.

5. Prepare students to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.

6. Ensure students are well-prepared to pass national and international professional examinations.

7. Promote social responsibility by providing consultations and organizing workshops in mathematical sciences, statistics, and data analysis within the local community.
