Dean of the College Meets Students

As part of student activities, his Excellency Dr. Muhammed Al-Salamah, the Dean of Engineering College attended the student and faculty annual meeting that was organized by the faculty student committee on Tuesday 23-11-1433 at the main university Campus. His Excellency, the dean welcomed all students and faculty members and congratulated them with the beginning of the new academic year and wished them a successful year.  He also acknowledged all the support from the university administration and his Excellency the university rector, and instructed all students and faculty members to spend the appropriate efforts and patience in order to accomplish all academic and scientific goals and objectives. The dean also assured all students that work should be carried out on a two way feedback manner, where students are highly encouraged (and may be obligated) to contribute in the decision making process by feedback and attending open discussion dialogues, as the success of either-part (students and faculty administration) is dependent upon the other. Many questions and concerns were raised by the students such as information regarding academic advising, and curriculum plans as well as selecting majors and specialization courses. Students were instructed to always take advises when selecting the appropriate major and area of specialization. At the end of the meeting the dean thanked all students and faculty members for attending and asked everybody to
continue to contribute in all faculty activities.
