12th Seminar held by Department of Computer Science and Information

In the presence of the Head of Department of Computer Science and Information, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez and faculty members, the 12th seminar for the academic year 1440/1441 AH was held at the Department.
Presented by Dr. Abdullah Al-Qashami, the seminar was entitled “Gamification Risks in Collaborative Information Systems: Identification and Management Method”.
The seminar summarizes a research project that provides technology-backed solutions to enhance or change employee attitude, perception, and behavior with regard to individual or group goals and tasks. Dr. Al-Qashami presented key research findings in exploring the risks of gamification risks in collaborative work and proposed an engineering method that allows identifying and mitigating the risks of manipulation.
A Q&A session was held at the end of the seminar which was very informative.
