The first Advising Council at the Department of Mathematics held its first meeting with Dr. Adel Zaki, the Department Head, as the Council chair along with members including Dr. Zaid Ibrahim Al-Mehemid, Head of Research Chairs at Kassim University and Mr. Abdurrahman Al-Minie, Director of the Talents Center in Zulfi and a number of department students. The meeting chair highlighted the department mission and objectives. Then basic research groups, study plans, e. learning and quality accreditation procedures were thoroughly discussed. Suggestions and recommendations were offered at the end of the session.
