Second Seminar of Computer Science and Information Department for Academic Year 1440-1441 held

In line with the series of seminars held during the academic year 1440/1441, the first seminar was conducted in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez and faculty members.
The seminar which was presented by Dr. Yousef Qawqazah is titled “The Analysis of PPG Time Indices to Predict Aging and Atherosclerosis”.
Dr. Qawqazah talked about a research project aimed to study the effects of age on the time variables of the systolic and diastolic peaks of the photoplasma signal.
He also presented how to demonstrate an inverse relationship between the age index and the diastolic time (DpTime), which tends to increase as we grow old.
The seminar was wrapped up by a Q&A session which was both enriching and informative.
