A workshop on How to Prepare for Examinations

Since the University vice Presidency for Educational Affairs is so keen to establish the bases and rules that include success of examinations process with the possible high quality. Within the standards of the National Commission for Assessment and Academic Accreditation that secures the quality of examinations in terms of the way the students are assessed, making exam questions and preparing preliminary and final test schedules. Based on directives by his Excellency the Dean of Faculty of Sciences, the unit of assessment and testing in the faculty held a workshop for teaching staff and lecturers in the presence of his Excellency Dr. Mohammad Saleh Aloboudi (the Dean of the Faculty) and his Excellency Dr. Mufawwaz Alharbi (the Faculty vice Dean for Quality and Development). The workshop was held by Dr. Jumaah Abdulraheem, the unit director. The workshop discussed how to prepare for examinations, how to write information on the front page of exam papers to include the learning output of the questions. Also, the responsibilities of a teaching staff members before and during exams were highlighted. Finally, the responsibilities of proctors before and during tests were discussed that help students to take exams quietly and in a very organized manner. Dr. Jumaah Abdulraheem answered all the questions and inquiries at the end of the workshop.
