The activities unit in the Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in REMAH, women’s section, organized a reception on Wednesday 15/11/1435 for new students. The celebration was attended by the faculty ice Dean and her assistants, the chair of public relations and media as well as the departments coordinator. The reception started with verses from the Noble Qur’an. Then, the facultyy vice Dean Mrs. Labeebah Alenezi gave a speech in which she started off with remembering Allah and peace and blessings be uponn his last messenger. Then, she welcomed students and clarified how the faculty is concerned with them that it always seeks to provide an excellent educational environment through guiding them, helping them, and answering any questions from them. At the end of the speech, her excellency urged students to work hard wishing them success and prosperity. Then, her assistant for students affairs Mrs. Alhanouf Alromeih gave a brief on the student affairs unit and its sections. Also, she raised students awareness to some systems students should understand and go by. Then, the faculty vice Dean assistant for educational affairs Mrs. Hayfa’a Alhameed introduced the students to the educational affairs unit and what every section offers. Afterwards, it was explained what department of admission and regestration offers by a speech given by the head of admission and registration unit Mrs. Nabla’a Alsibeiei where she gave a brief on the academic student guide of the monthly stipend, academic record, issuing cards and forms as well as adding and dropping courses. Finally, the reception was concluded with inviting the students to food and gifting them bags that contain introductory and guiding brochures related to the students and what they need during study period.
