ONE WORLD

On the basis of the importance of translation and its apparent impact among countries, Ms. Alhanof Al Sahli and female students of the first level in the Department of English Language prepared an activity entitled (ONE WORLD) on Monday dated 18.11.2013. Therefore, this activity aims to show the role of translation in the transferring of cultures and customs of one country to another, and its impact on that country. Thus, in this activity four countries from all over the world were selected, these countries are: India, China, Italy, and Mexico. Then a brief presentation was displayed about each country starting from the far east (China) until the far west (Mexico), also for each country there was a special corner included what the country is famous for of costumes, cuisine and distinctive tourist attractions. Hence, this activity received an attendance of the Vice Dean of the College Ms. Abeer Hijab Al Otaibi and a large number of the employees of the college .
