The Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs has organized an orientation meeting for freshmen on Sunday 6/1/1440 AH. Attended by the Dean Dr. Bander Al-Yahya and Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Mr. Musa’ed Al-Jawfan, the meeting began by welcoming freshmen to the college.
In a speech addressed by Dr. Al-Yahya to freshmen, the dean reminded students that adherence to the university regulations is vital. Students were also encouraged to be independent and demonstrate high level of dedication and perseverance to get a good GPA.
Highlighting the importance of participating in the college activities, Dr. Al-Jawfan said that the college provides a wide-ranging of student activities to prompt students to take part in them and to represent the college in events at the university level or community level.
A number of talks were offered by a group of the college staff to guide and to draw the students’ attention to several matters related to their academic life. A Q&A session was finally held to respond to the questions asked by the freshmen.
