'The Use of Saudi Digital Library to Develop Students Research Skills' Course

Within the framework of the plan set by the Vice-Dean's Office for Student Affairs, and patronized by the vice-dean, Mr. Musaed AlJofan as well as the contribution of Business Administration Department, a course was held Tuesday titled : « Developing Students Research Skills Using Saudi Digital Library » in the presence of Head of the Students Activities Unit Dr. Nasser Al Zaydeen, the Head of Quality Assurance Unit Dr. Atef Mohammed Abdulbari Mabrook.
The course addressed the following topics :
-Introducing the Saudi Digital Library and its importance for universities and their staff
-The advantages of research using the digital library compared to traditional libraries or paper.
- How to register in the Saudi Digital Library
- General search method via fields (author - journal - title ....)
- Search in a specialized publishing house.
- Advanced search method in a specific publishing house via specific key words, with extra searching features.
