The Guidance, Counseling and Student Rights Unit holds a training course entitled (Basics of Academic Guidance and the Student Portal) - الارشاد الأكاديمي

The Vice-Dean's Office for Educational Affairs and Development, represented by the Guidance, Counseling and Student Rights Unit, held, in cooperation with the Biology Department, a training course entitled “Basics of Academic Guidance and the Student Portal”.

The course was presented by Ms. Mona Al-Fawzan, and focused on simplifying the concept of academic guidance and its importance for students, what are the things that students should be aware of when joining the university, what are the important things that should be taken into account with add/drop courses and how to communicate with the academic advisor. 

The role of the academic advisor in the guidance process and the students’ responsibility towards him were also clarified. The course also highlighted the services on the system portal along with the various academic movements and procedures.
