Dr. Essam Al-Malki appointed as a Dean of the College of Science

Following the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Education,MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, has issued a decision to renew the appointment of Dr. Essam Al-Malki as Dean of the College of Science.

Dr. Al-Malki is one of the university’s distinguished academic and administrative leaders. Over the years, he has held several key positions within and outside the university, including Director of Advisory Affairs at the Vice-Rector's Office during its founding phase, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, and Supervisor of Technical Departments at the University’s Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs. He also served as Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, and General Supervisor of the Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs for more than five consecutive years.

He was appointed Vice Dean for Development and Quality at the College of Science, Advisor to the Vice-Rector's Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and General Supervisor of the University Council Secretariat. He was also assigned as the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Dr. Al-Malki has participated in numerous university-level committees and has a strong academic record with a notable number of published research papers, local and regional awards, as well as media contributions. He has also represented the university in various national and international forums.
