The Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs and Development, represented by the Guidance, Counseling, and Student Rights Unit and in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Information, organized a workshop titled “Data and Artificial Intelligence,” presented by Dr. Sarah Al-Jak.
The workshop explored the concept of data, its types, importance, and methods of analysis. It also introduced the fundamentals of human intelligence and artificial intelligence (AI), outlining their characteristics, types, applications, benefits, and the tools used to activate AI algorithms. The session addressed the challenges facing this rapidly evolving field and offered insights into its future outlook.
Another focus was data intelligence and its importance for institutions and its role in predicting future decisions. The session concluded with a Q&A segment where students’ inquiries were addressed.
