College of Science hosts Workshop on “How to Gain Your Career Passion”

The Vice-Dean’s Office for Educational Affairs and Development at the College of Science, represented by the Alumni Affairs Unit and in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, organized a program titled “How to Gain Your Career Passion,” presented by Dr. Mohammed Abdulrahman. The session was open to various segments of the community.

The program introduced the concept of passion as an inner drive that fuels enthusiasm, motivation, enjoyment, and a sense of love toward a particular pursuit. It was described as a powerful internal force that encourages individuals to put forth greater effort and find happiness and fulfillment in activities that inspire them.

Dr. Abdulrahman also discussed the causes of lost passion, noting that individuals may experience fatigue, apathy, or a decline in motivation toward their work or goals. Such feelings, often brought on by stress, exhaustion, or routine, can resemble mild symptoms of depression such as avoiding tasks, feeling isolated, or losing focus.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants shared their experiences and explored practical ways to rekindle their professional passion.
