College of Science hosts a Workshop on Gifted and Talented Students

The Vice-Dean's Office for Educational Affairs and Development, represented by the Student Guidance, Counseling, and Rights Unit, organized in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Information, a workshop titled “Gifted and Talented Students.”

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of supporting gifted and high-achieving students within the university. It also focused on the role of modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, in identifying academic talent and nurturing their potential toward excellence and leadership.

The session further sought to raise academic awareness about transforming talent into entrepreneurial projects with meaningful knowledge and technological impact aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Participants were encouraged to foster innovative thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to harness AI to serve both the community and the knowledge-based economy.

At the end of the program, attendees had the opportunity to share questions and engage in discussions, promoting the exchange of ideas and expertise among participants.
