The College of Science conducts a Workshop on “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Science Majors”

The Vice-Dean's Office for Educational Affairs and Development, represented by the Science Student Club and in collaboration with the Volunteering and Community Service Unit, organized a workshop titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Science Majors.”

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Wardah Al-Haqil and highlighted the role of artificial intelligence technologies in advancing various scientific fields, including chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science. It explored modern applications such as data analysis, outcome prediction, accelerating scientific discovery, and supporting decision-making in research.

The workshop also addressed the ethical and professional challenges associated with the use of AI, emphasizing the importance of equipping students with future digital skills.

It ended by highlighting that artificial intelligence represents a promising opportunity to enhance innovation and improve the efficiency of scientific research in academic institutions.
