Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research
Based on the vision of the College of Engineering at Majmaah University and in line with the vision and mission of the Majmaah University to support the scientific research and community service, the Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at College of Engineering strives to achieve the distinction in scientific research and innovation. Hence, knowledge produced by excellence research will be increased to serve the community and meet its demands. Scientific research and innovation will help to achieve sustainable development and contribute to build a powerful knowledge-based economy.
In addition to the distinction in scientific research and innovation, the Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research aims to facilitate opening new master’s degree programs to advance professionals in engineering specializations. Consequently, engineering graduates with higher degrees will meet the demand of the Saudi labor market to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030. Developing students’ research skills, enhancing their knowledge level, and motivating them to provide innovations and engineering solutions will contribute in building and developing the promising Saudi projects.
Moreover, the Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research aims to hold trainings and workshops to develop the research capabilities and encourage the faculty members to publish in the top scientific journals and actively participate in international conferences to reflect a positive reputation of Majmaah University and Saudi Arabia. The deanship also aims to activate the role of collaboration with different Saudi universities as well as industrial cities to enhance the efficiency of the research and development.
In conclusion, we would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the University President, Dr. Khalid Saad Almuqrin, for his continuous support to achieve the superiority in scientific research and actively participate in community development. Our thanks are extended to the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Saleh Ahmed Aldahash for his follow up with the work of the Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
