Student Advising and Counseling Unit

Unit tasks:

1. Introducing new students to university life, and study system through counseling programs.

2/ Assigning new students to academic advisors, through cooperation with the Student Rights Unit.

3/ Maintaining students' mental health and training them to solve their problems through the academic advisor.

4 / Following up the academic performance of students.

5/ Helping students who are failing academically to improve their performance and overcome the challenges they face with the help of academic advisors.

6/ Studying student cases sent by departments which need psychological and social services, and helping to overcome these problems or by referring them to specialists.

7/ Conducting seminars and courses necessary to develop students' skills and talents and develop their capabilities.

8/ Preparing the unit's operational plan
