Within the new tendency to develop the university staff performance, The Training Unit at Preparatory Year conducted a training course entitled “How to motive Yourself”.

The Academic Advising Unit at the Office of the Vice-Dean of Preparatory Year established a digital library as a step towards meeting the needs of students who are interested to improve their academic level.

In cooperation with the Medical Services, the Preparatory Year Dean’s Office organized a blood donation campaign. A large number of staff and students from the Preparatory Year have participated in the campaign.

The Dean’s Office of the Preparatory Year conducted a competition for its students to design a logo for the Dean’s office. A number of beautiful designs were received and the most beautiful posters were voted on.

With the support of the Medical Services at the University, the Office of the Dean of the Preparatory Year organized an intensive First Aid training course for students at the female campus in Majmaah.

The Student Advisory Council held its first meeting on Monday 27/2/1440 AH, in the presence of its members. Headed by the supervisor of Office of the Dean of Preparatory Year Dr. Abdulmohsen Khunaizan, and Coordinator of Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs Mr.

In cooperation with the Office of the Dean of Preparatory Year, the Counseling and Guidance Center held a seminar entitled "Student’s Rights and Duties" for a number of PYD students.

The representative of McGraw Hill International Publishing Company met with the academic coordinators of the Preparatory Year (PY).

A set of references were suggested to the PY by the company to be used in the preparatory year.
