In the presence of Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez, Head of Computer Science and Information Department, the 9th seminar was presented by Dr. Dr. Wael Khedr, with the theme “: A Novel Blind and Robust Watermarking Technique of Multiple Images”.
Dr. Khedr talked about the techniques used to keep the copyright of medical or military images as well as other confidential images shared across global communications services and use watermark techniques to hide the contents of these images. He also talked about a research project that aims to develop a new technology for the invisible watermark by including three gray images of the watermark in a color cover image that depends on a set of methods. These methods are : DWT, DCT and SVD.
A Q&A session was conducted for faculty members which was very informative.
