Within the unlimited support that is given to higher studies sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Saud, May Allah preserve him, and as the university sincerely believes, represented by his Excellency the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa’ad Almuqrin in supporting the local excellent cadres to take part with their counterparts in varied research centers and the distinct higher education institutions around the world, approval has been issued by his Excellency the University Rector for allowing the chair of Department of Physics in Faculty of Sciences in Alzulfi Dr. Thamer Shleih Alharbi for taking part aloneg with a big number of scientists and researchers from Japan, United States of America and Europe in a unique experiment in nuclear physics to decay spectroscopy of neutron-rich rare earth isotopes around double mid-shell, Rikagaku Kenkyusho Institute of Physical and Chemical Research. During the experiment, isotopes have been produced around the middle of the double crust and measure the energy levels of the excited levels +4 and +2 and half-lives of the tracks where the beam 238U for producing isotopes 170Dy, 168Gd, 164Eu, 166Tb, 158Pm and 156Pm with the capacity of 345 million electron volts. At the end of his participation in Japan, Dr. Thamer Alharbi offered his regards and appreciation to his highness the University Rector for approving his participation in such scientific events, and he also extended thanks to his excellency the Dean of Faculty of Sciences in Alzulfi Dr. Mohammad Saleh Aloboudi for his constant support for everything that contributes to developing the faculty members and hone their skills.
