Within the framework of cooperation amongst higher educational institutions in the Kingdom, and as Faculty of Sciences believes in the importance of developing ideas and benefitting from excellent experiences in different sectors and institutions of higher education, a delegation of department of physics in Faculty of Sciences in Alzulfi made a visit to King Abdullah University for Sciences and Technology in Thuwal. Everyone knew about the existing scientific departments and they visited some distinct laboratories in the University and they listened to detailed explanation on the most crucial existing devices. In fact, the guests went straight to Ibn Sina Institute for Researches and they knew its contents. Also, security and safety methods used in the scientific laboratories were discussed to gain some knowledge from their expertise in King Abdullah University for Sciences and Technology. At the end of the visit, the teaching staff from Faculty of Sciences extended thanks and appreciation to the supervisors in charge of King Abdullah University for the great hospitality. It is worth noting that this visit was planned based on a suggestion made by the chairman of Department of Physics DR. Thamer Alharbi and with the approval and support from his Excellency the Dean of Faculty of Sciences Dr. Mohammad Saleh Aloboudi. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Abdulmajed Abdulmajeed, Dr. Samer Khaleel, Dr. Karman and Mr. Ahmad Alwazzan, the supervisor of Laboratory and Devices Unit in the Faculty.
