In an attempt to ensure the highest quality of the educational process is attained, the first meeting of the Department of Biology’s student advisory council was chaired by the head of the department, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayze.
During the meeting, a wide variety of topics were addressed, most importantly are the study plan, timetable, final exams and the e-learning system ‘Blackboard’.
Dr. Al-Fayez motivated the students to avail of the services provided by the college’s library and the Saudi Digital Library to help them in their academic study.
A suggestion was made by students to establish a library for used books in the department to allow junior students utilizing their senior’s books.
The head of the department pointed out that the primary goal of this council is to seek students’ feedback which would help the department in creating an academic environment conducive to learning.
