The Vice-Dean's Office for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, conducted a course in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics, entitled "Creative Leadership".
The course was presented by Dr. Jawaher Al Zahrani who explained the concept of leadership and leadership qualities, the concept of creativity and qualities of a creative leader, and the role of creative leadership in achieving the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.
She also talked about the relationship between leadership and creativity and how creative leadership is the way to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s vision and goals. Defining the concept of leadership from the public’s point of view and from the point of view of scholars and thinkers, she talked about the elements of leadership and that the leadership process does not take place without its availability.
She also touched on the fact that leadership qualities are acquired by a person through learning and training, while other qualities are found in the person since his birth.
She suggested some ways to generate creative ideas, and stressed the need to stay away from negative people that hinder creativity.
She finally talked about the role of universities in achieving the vision.
