Islamic University of Medina’s Delegation visits Vice-Dean’s Office of Information Technology

A delegation of Islamic University of Medina chaired by Dr. Dhafer Fakhry Al-Daher, the Vice-Dean of Scientific Research for Quality and Technology, Dr. Sami Bin Sa’ad Al-Boq, Vice- Dean of Information Technology for E-services, and Eng. Abdullah Ghaban Al-Subhi, Head of the University’s E-services Department, paid a visit to the Office of the Dean of Information Technology at Majmaah University.
The delegation was received by Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-weinin, Dean of Information Technology, and Vice- Dean fir Technical Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zamel.
A number of meetings were held at the Dean’s Office where the delegation was briefed about some the E-Systems developed by the university such as the Research Project Management System (Abhath).
The Supervisor of E-portal Department explained how the Staff Intranet has made the processo f accessing all services easier. Future projects and achievements of the Department was also highlighted, most notably being ranked as the fastest website in Saudi Arabia (with an average speed of (2.02) per second).
